Built by people who
get bored of
ordinary work.

Monoshift started as a rejection of templated agency thinking. Today we’re a small, senior team helping startups and SaaS companies turn ambition into brand systems, products and launches that actually move markets.

Our story / 01

From a two-person favor
to a category-defining studio.

Monoshift began in 2016 as a side favor: a rebrand for a friend’s seed-stage startup, done nights and weekends because the branding options at that budget were either lifeless templates or agencies too slow to keep pace with a Series A timeline.

The gap was obvious. Fast-moving technology companies needed partners who could think at their speed without flattening the work into generic SaaS beige. So we built the studio we wished existed: senior-only, opinionated, and structured around outcomes instead of deliverables.

Nine years later, the favor became a practice trusted by category leaders across fintech, developer tools, climate and healthtech. The brief changed. The instinct never did.

Mission & vision / 02

Mission

Give ambitious teams a creative unfair advantage.

We exist to compress the distance between a bold idea and a market that believes it. Every engagement is built to make our clients faster, sharper and harder to copy.

Vision

A world where good ideas don't lose to bad execution.

We're working toward a standard where startups and SaaS teams expect senior craft as the default, not the exception, and where speed and quality stop being a trade-off.

Core values / 03

What we won’t
compromise on.

Craft over noise

We'd rather ship one considered decision than ten decorative ones.

Speed with intent

Momentum matters, but never at the cost of the strategy underneath it.

Radical candor

We tell clients what they need to hear, in writing, before the deadline bites.

Systems, not one-offs

Every deliverable is built to compound, not to be redone next quarter.

Senior on every seat

No trainee handoffs. The people who pitch the work do the work.

Own the outcome

We measure ourselves on what changed for the business, not what shipped.

How we work / 04

One team.
Four disciplined stages.

01

Discover

We audit the business, the market and the current brand or product before proposing anything.

Week 01

02

Define

Strategy, positioning and narrative get locked before a single pixel moves.

Week 02

03

Build

Design and engineering move in parallel sprints, reviewed together every week.

Weeks 03-06

04

Launch & Compound

We ship, measure, and hand over systems your team can run without us.

Week 07+

The difference / 05

What you don’t get with Monoshift.

No trainee handoffs

The senior team you meet in the pitch.

The same senior team you meet in the pitch is the team in your Slack channel, week one through launch.

No deliverable theatre

Artifacts built to be used.

We don't pad timelines with decks nobody reads. Every artifact ships to be used, not archived.

No brand-then-bail

We stay close after launch.

We watch the metrics that matter after launch and adjust the system, not just the visuals.

Leadership / 06

Small team.
Senior at every level.

We stay intentionally small so every engagement gets our most senior thinking, not our most available junior.

Elena Marchetti

Founding Partner, Strategy & Brand

Good strategy is a filter. It should make ninety percent of ideas easier to reject.

Marcus Reyes

Founding Partner, Product & Engineering

We ship systems, not screenshots. If it doesn't hold up in production, it isn't done.

Priya Nandakumar

Executive Creative Director

Craft is what's still true after the trend that inspired it is gone.

Studio principles / 07

The standard behind
every engagement.

Where we work / 09

Built for founders who refuse
to look ordinary.

From pre-seed startups to Series C scale-ups, we partner with teams who treat brand and product as a competitive weapon, not a checkbox.

Trusted since 2016 by product teams across 12 markets.

Questions / 10

Before you reach out.

What kinds of companies do you work with?

Mostly venture-backed startups and SaaS companies from seed to Series C, though we take on later-stage rebrands when the fit is right.

How is Monoshift different from a typical branding agency?

We stay senior-only and outcome-focused. The same partners who scope your engagement design and build it, and we stay close after launch to watch what the numbers say.

What does a typical engagement look like?

Most projects run 6-10 weeks across four stages: Discover, Define, Build, and Launch & Compound. Ongoing partnerships continue in structured monthly sprints.

Do you work with early-stage startups with limited budget?

Yes, through our Membership model, which gives smaller teams access to senior strategy and design at a predictable monthly cost instead of a large upfront retainer.

Can you work with our existing in-house team?

Regularly. We're often brought in to lead a specific initiative or unblock a stretched internal team, and we document everything so your team can run it after we leave.

What if we don't have a brand or product built yet?

That's often the ideal starting point. Defining brand and product strategy together, before either exists in isolation, produces a far more coherent result.

How do you measure success?

Against the business outcome agreed in Discover, whether that's funding readiness, activation rate, or category recognition, not just delivery of assets.
